I am not anti-progress, nor am I anti-business. But if in the process, certain lives and livelihood will be sacrificed, I am definitely going to have to do something about it in my own small way. By sharing this video with you, I hope you will ask the same questions I have in my mind and do your part: is this nickel mining operation legal? Did they consider the effects of the operation on people’s lives and the environment? Were the inhabitants of Alangan properly informed and educated about the pros and cons? What are the contingencies in case of failure?
