How I Learned to Celebrate the Storm

To be honest, I was hoping I’d die young so I don’t have to stress myself out planning and trying to sustain a financially stable life. Don’t get me wrong — I love my life! It’s just that money was never a source of motivation for me. Awesome to have, but not to die for.

On employee dignity and respect

An angry boss must have a reason to really get mad at an employee. In fact, the lashing might even help strengthen the employee’s character. But to do that every day without valid reason, and in front of other people is a hard blow to one’s dignity. It’s just not right. Either you ship out, or sue the ass off of your boss.

Dream, passion and all that blah

Passion, on the other hand, is for suckers. They are aware of the pains that go with the pursuit, and yet they do it anyway. Why? Because they take pleasure in the pain, knowing that once they reach their peak, the reward is ethereal. Otherworldly. Hedonic.
